The GLR-16 M4 Carbine Collapsible Stock, This is manufactured by FAB Defense for Mako Security.  The stock has a hidden battery compartment that can hold either the 2 CR123 batteries or 2 AA, the 2 most common sizes for accessories. The compartment is graduated so that it will hold either securely.  At first glance this appears fairly stock looking, but don’t be fooled, this is very well made sturdy product. The GLR 16 has a rubber shock absorber pad, it can add in the ability to keep it in place on your shoulder. This has a very solid fit better than the one that was on my AR. There is no weight reduction or addition when adding this stock. Installation of this was very easy, took no more than 10 minutes. If your looking for a new stock but are not sure about jumping to a radical new design, or your agency or department will not allow a change, This is the one for you. The AG-43 Ergonomic pistol grip, this was a feature i didn't even consider, but once i got it on the weapon. I would not have had  it any other way. This is a very comfortable grip, I carry a Sig P229 this grip is a little wider than the standard grip of the AR-15, this is a good thing, it made my transistion from rifle to sidearm very easy. At first, my had was used to the skinny grip of the AR, but after just one trip to the range, I was hooked.  This has a compartment that can hold a good bit of stuff, you can easily fit 2 batteries in this grip (AA or CR123). This grip also has a raised blackstrap to aid in grip and control of fire. As with all of Mako Security’s Products, it is very well made. A new tactical rail system called the “VFR” or Vertical For-end Rail. Its Made from Hard Anodized 6061 T6 Aircraft Aluminum that is very light weight (a little over one pound) This provided me with 4 rails as with most rails systems just with the VFR you can adjust the 3 lower rails at 7 angles. This makes it easy to adjust your system to fit about anything you want on your weapon system. There is no modifications needed to make this fit, this fit right on my DPMS AR-15 with no trouble at all.  There are 2 version of the VFR. one that has the A2 Carry handle and the flat top. The kit includes 3 rail covers, the 2 piece rail system, the 3 detachable rails, and the tools to fasten it together. I do recommend a hand-guard removal tool. This made the install so much easier.  This is a very solid unit. This will not move. I put almost 500 rounds though this weapon right after the install, there was no loose parts. This one addition made my AR-15 one of my favorite rifles I own. This decreased the overall weight, made the feel more comfortable.
