Aguilla IQ ammo
Written by Administrator
This new line of ammunition is loaded with the first intelligent bullet, made of an alloy (no lead) with a low specific weight. This feature allows light bullets like these to have a size similar to those projectiles made from lead.

I know some of you carry a heavy side arm and I do also, a Kimber Eclipse Pro.   It alone is a brick, so when you load 8+1 230 grain cartridges into it , it just adds to the overall weight. I was told by a friend to try this new ammo that is very light weight. I looked it up at:
I checked out the price and it is about $10 per 20. Compared to the Corbon and Hydra-Shok, the price for the Aguila seems to be a very good deal.   I loaded the magazine for my Kimber and could tell a difference right away in the overall weight.  These bullets aren't just light, they also pack quite a punch.  The 9mm weighs only 65g, travels 1550 fps and packs 347 ft-lbs of energy.  The 45 only weighs 95g, travels 1500 fps and has 475 ft-lbs of energy.  I was very impressed and quite surprised by the performance of this ammunition considering the light weight of the bullets.

Aguila make the ammunition in the most common calibers.   As soon as I obtain pictures of the ballistics gel tests, I will post them.  I reccomend this ammunition 100% for those who want a large gun but not the heavy weight.
